The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of SJM Institute of Technology, in association with IEEE Student Branch, IQAC, and IETE, organized a Technical Talk on “Unlocking the Future of Silicon: Emerging Technologies in Semiconductor Processing.”
The session focused on recent advancements and emerging trends in semiconductor processing technologies, highlighting innovations shaping the future of the electronics and semiconductor industry. The program provided students and faculty members with valuable insights into modern semiconductor design, fabrication processes, and industry opportunities.
The resource person for the event was Mr. Sreenivas Vaddi, an alumnus of the 1988 batch and Senior Group Director at Cadence Design Systems, Inc., San Jose, California, United States.
The technical talk was conducted on 22nd May 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Sir M V Hall.
