The SJM Institute of Technology, in association with the IQAC, organized an Awareness Program on the POSH Act 2013 under the Anti-Sexual Harassment Cell.
The program aimed to create awareness about the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Act, 2013 and to promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for students and staff members.
The session was delivered by the Chief Guest, Geetha D, Gender Specialist from Jilla Mahila Sabalikarana Gataka, Mahila and Makkala Abiruddi Ilake. The speaker addressed important aspects of workplace safety, gender sensitivity, legal rights, and grievance redressal mechanisms under the POSH Act.
The event was conducted on 19th May 2026 at 11:30 AM in Sir M V Hall.
