The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at SJM Institute of Technology is organizing a four-day hands-on workshop on “O-Level IoT and Soft Skills” from 14th to 18th May 2026 at the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Seminar Hall. The workshop is conducted in association with NIELIT, IQAC, IETE, IEEE, and the Institution’s Innovation Council. The program focuses on providing practical knowledge in Internet of Things (IoT) technologies along with essential soft skills required for academic and professional development.
The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering at SJM Institute of Technology is organizing a comprehensive workshop on Innovation, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), and Business Planning in association with NIELIT, IQAC, IETE, IIC, and IEEE.
The sessions will be conducted by Dr. Balaji K.A., Senior Faculty, NIELIT EC, Government of India, offering participants hands-on exposure to IoT concepts, applications, and industry-oriented learning. The workshop is funded by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) through the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT). This initiative aims to enhance students’ technical competence, communication skills, and readiness for emerging technology-driven careers.
