The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, SJM Institute of Technology, Chitradurga, in association with NIELIT, IQAC, IETE, and IEEE, successfully organized a Five Days Hands-on Bootcamp on “RTL, IP Integration and SoC Signoff” from 9th to 13th February 2026 at Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Seminar Hall.
The bootcamp focused on providing in-depth practical exposure to RTL design, IP integration methodologies, and SoC signoff techniques, enabling students and faculty members to gain industry-relevant knowledge in VLSI system design. The sessions were handled by Mr. S. Viswanath Naik, Academic Head, NIELIT EC, Government of India, who served as the resource person for the program. The program aimed at strengthening technical competencies in semiconductor design and enhancing career readiness among participants.
The event was coordinated by Prof. Nandini G.R., Prof. Divya K., and Prof. Sushma R. as Faculty Coordinators, with Dr. Rajesh A.M. serving as IQAC Coordinator. The program was conducted under the leadership of Dr. Siddesh K.B., Head of the Department of E&CE, and Dr. Bharath P.B., Principal of SJM Institute of Technology.
