The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), Regional Office, Bengaluru, in association with SJM Institute of Technology, Chitradurga, organized a Consumer Outreach Programme at the STEP Hall with the objective of creating awareness about telecom consumer rights, privileges, and cyber safety. The programme featured informative sessions by TRAI officials, including a detailed presentation on telecom rights, followed by an expert talk from the Cybercrime Police on cybercrime and cyber theft. The event provided an interactive platform for students and participants to engage with experts through question-and-answer sessions and gain valuable insights into safe and responsible use of telecom services in the digital era.
