The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, SJM Institute of Technology, Chitradurga, in association with the ISTE Student Chapter and IQAC, organized a technical talk on “Engineer’s in Medicine” on 2nd December 2025 at the EEE Seminar Hall.
The session aimed to highlight the growing contribution of engineering innovations in the field of medicine, showcasing how interdisciplinary knowledge is transforming modern healthcare technologies.
The resource person for the event was Dr. Anjaneya L. H., Associate Professor, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Bapuji Institute of Engineering & Technology, Davanagere. His insightful presentation provided students with valuable exposure to medical electronics, biomedical advancements, and the role of engineers in healthcare problem-solving.
The event was conducted under the guidance and support of Dr. Bharath P. B., Principal, SJMIT, along with coordination from Mrs. Sudha T (Dept. ISTE Coordinator), Mrs. Roopa S (ISTE Faculty Advisor), Dr. Kumaraswamy B. G (Professor & HOD), and Dr. Rajesh A. M (IQAC Coordinator).
