The S. J. M. Institute of Technology, Chitradurga, joyfully celebrated Kanakadasa Jayanthi to honor the birth anniversary of Sri Kanakadasa, the great saint, philosopher, poet, and social reformer of Karnataka.
The program began with the lighting of the lamp and floral tributes to Sri Kanakadasa, followed by an invocation song composed on his devotional works. Faculty members, students, and dignitaries highlighted Kanakadasa’s immense contribution to Kannada literature, Bhakti movement, and social equality.
