The Department of Computer Science & Engineering, in association with IQAC, organized a 5-day workshop on “Future Tech Workshop: IoT and Parallel Computing Applications.”

The workshop aimed to provide participants with hands-on experience and technical knowledge in emerging technologies like Internet of Things (IoT) and Parallel Computing, which are transforming the modern computing landscape.

Resource Persons:

  • Dr. Manasa C. M, Assistant Professor, Department of CSE, Manipal Institute of Technology (MAHE), Bangalore

  • Dr. Niranjan Murthy C, Associate Professor, Department of CSE, Jain Institute of Technology, Davanagere

The sessions focused on practical demonstrations, programming concepts, and real-world applications of IoT and parallel processing systems. Students gained valuable insights into how these technologies can be leveraged for developing smart solutions and improving computing efficiency.

The event was coordinated by Prof. Basantha Kumari and Prof. Pavithra N, under the guidance of Dr. Krishnareddy K. R, Head of the Department of CSE. The program was conducted under the leadership of Dr. Bharath P. B, Principal, SJMIT, and Dr. Rajesh A. M, IQAC Coordinator.

The workshop successfully encouraged students to explore future-ready technologies and strengthen their technical and problem-solving skills for upcoming career opportunities.
