Breast Cancer Awareness Program:
The Women’s Cell of S J M Institute of Technology, Chitradurga, in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), organized a “Breast Cancer Awareness Program” on 31st October 2025 at 11:00 AM in Sir M V Hall.
The session was graced by Dr. Deepika N, Department of Community Medicine, BMCH, Chitradurga, who served as the Chief Guest.
She enlightened the participants about the importance of early detection, prevention, and healthy lifestyle practices for reducing the risk of breast cancer. The session helped in creating awareness among students and faculty about the significance of regular check-ups and self-examination.
The program was coordinated by Prof. Beena Sheril and Prof. Pavithra N, Women’s Cell Coordinators, under the guidance of Dr. Bharath P B, Principal, SJMIT.
