One-Day Technical Talk on “Sensor Technology and Smart Sensor”
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, SJM Institute of Technology, Chitradurga, in association with IQAC and ISTE, organized a One-Day Technical Talk on the topic “Sensor Technology and Smart Sensor” on 3rd November 2025 at A P J Abdul Kalam Seminar Hall.
The session was conducted by Dr. Mallikarjuna S. Holi, Professor and Head, Department of E&IT, UBDTCE, Davangere.
Dr. Holi shared valuable insights on the latest trends and advancements in sensor technologies and their applications in modern engineering systems. The talk provided students and faculty with a deeper understanding of smart sensor mechanisms and their role in the evolving field of electronics.
The event was coordinated by Prof. Roopa S and Prof. Sushma R, under the guidance of Dr. Rajesh A M, IQAC Coordinator, and Dr. Siddesh K B, Head of the Department of E&CE.
The program was held under the leadership of Dr. Bharath P B, Principal, SJMIT.
The event was highly informative and served as an excellent platform for students to enhance their knowledge in emerging sensor technologies.
