Department of Civil Engineering, S.J.M. Institute of Technology, Chitradurga, in association with IQAC, ICI, IIC & ISTE, organized a Technical Talk on “Emerging Technologies in Civil Engineering & Concrete Strength Enhancement and AI Applications” on 30 September 2026 at 10:00 AM at Sir M V Hall, Department of Civil Engineering.
The technical talk focused on emerging technologies in Civil Engineering, advancements in concrete strength enhancement, and the applications of Artificial Intelligence in the field of Civil Engineering. The session provided students and faculty members with insights into recent technological developments and their practical applications in the construction and infrastructure sectors.
The programme featured Mr. Prashanth V P, Assistant Professor, Department of Construction Technology and Management, JSS Science and Technology University, SJCE, Mysuru, and Mr. Madan Kumar L, Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, National Institute of Engineering, Mysuru, as the resource persons.
