The Department of Basic Science at SJM Institute of Technology, in association with IQAC, organized a program on the “Role of Language Lab in English” for 2nd Semester students on May 29, 2026, at 11:30 AM in Sir M V Hall.
The session was conducted to create awareness among students about the importance of language laboratories in enhancing communication skills, pronunciation, listening ability, vocabulary, and overall English language proficiency.
The program featured Mr. Shivakumar K H, Assistant Professor at SJM College of Arts and Commerce, as the Chief Guest. The event was coordinated by Prof. Harish B and Prof. Harsha K A under the guidance of Dr. E Niranjan, Prof. Shashidhar A P, Dr. Rajesh A M, and Principal Dr. Bharath P B.
The session benefited students by motivating them to effectively utilize language lab facilities for improving their English communication and professional skills.
