S J M Institute of Technology, in association with SJMIT-KSCST IP Cell, IQAC, and Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), successfully conducted a workshop on “Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and IP Management for Start-up” on 27th May 2026 at 11:00 AM in Sir M V Hall, Civil Engineering Department.
The session was delivered by Dr. Sharath Kumar P, Head of the Patent Cell at All India Institute of Speech & Hearing (AIISH), Mysuru. The workshop provided valuable insights into intellectual property rights, patent management, and the importance of IP protection for start-ups and innovators.
The event was organized under the guidance of Dr. Bharath P B, Principal, with the support of Prof. Nagaraj T, Coordinator of IP Cell, Dr. Rajesh A M, IQAC Coordinator, and Prof. Rashmi G, IIC Convener. Faculty members and students actively participated in the session, making the program informative and successful.
