The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at SJM Institute of Technology<\/span><\/span> is organizing a four-day hands-on workshop on \u201cO-Level IoT and Soft Skills\u201d<\/strong> from 14th to 18th May 2026<\/strong> at the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Seminar Hall<\/strong>. The workshop is conducted in association with NIELIT<\/span><\/span>, IQAC<\/span><\/span>, IETE<\/span><\/span>, IEEE<\/span><\/span>, and the Institution’s Innovation Council<\/span><\/span>. The program focuses on providing practical knowledge in Internet of Things (IoT) technologies along with essential soft skills required for academic and professional development.<\/p>\n

The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering at SJM Institute of Technology<\/span><\/span> is organizing a comprehensive workshop on Innovation, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), and Business Planning<\/strong> in association with NIELIT, IQAC, IETE, IIC, and IEEE.<\/p>\n

The sessions will be conducted by Dr. Balaji K.A., Senior Faculty, NIELIT EC, Government of India<\/strong>, offering participants hands-on exposure to IoT concepts, applications, and industry-oriented learning. The workshop is funded by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology<\/span><\/span> (MeitY) through the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology<\/span><\/span> (NIELIT). This initiative aims to enhance students\u2019 technical competence, communication skills, and readiness for emerging technology-driven careers.<\/p>\n
