The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, SJM Institute of Technology, Chitradurga, in association with the ISTE Student Chapter<\/strong> and IQAC<\/strong>, organized a technical talk on \u201cEngineer\u2019s in Medicine\u201d<\/strong> on 2nd December 2025<\/strong> at the EEE Seminar Hall.<\/p>\n

The session aimed to highlight the growing contribution of engineering innovations in the field of medicine, showcasing how interdisciplinary knowledge is transforming modern healthcare technologies.<\/p>\n

The resource person for the event was Dr. Anjaneya L. H.<\/strong>, Associate Professor, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Bapuji Institute of Engineering & Technology, Davanagere. His insightful presentation provided students with valuable exposure to medical electronics, biomedical advancements, and the role of engineers in healthcare problem-solving.<\/p>\n

The event was conducted under the guidance and support of Dr. Bharath P. B., Principal, SJMIT, along with coordination from Mrs. Sudha T (Dept. ISTE Coordinator), Mrs. Roopa S (ISTE Faculty Advisor), Dr. Kumaraswamy B. G (Professor & HOD), and Dr. Rajesh A. M (IQAC Coordinator).<\/p>\n
